Tour of Hope

With the help of generous individual and corporate donations, the group boards buses in December for its annual Tour of Hope, a day-long carol-a-thon that takes music to where it's needed most shelters, missions and retirement homes.

1. Juvenile Hall on Eastlake
   9:00 A.M.

2. Weingart Center
   Has a nationally recognized program including a health clinic, job placement and support and countless services to help people change and take charge of their lives.

3. Shiners Hospital
   Children are treated at no charge for orthopedic needs and burn reconstruction.

4. PATH, People Assisting the Homeless
   Is a homeless shelter.

5. Foundation for the Junior Blind
   Where children who are blind and who have multiple handicaps can live and attend school. Also on this campus there is an excellent program for adults who are newly blind. They can get the services they need to further their education, employment, and mobility skills.

6. Westwood Transitional Village
   Operated by the Salvation Army.
   Here families just coming out of homelessness, live in very attractive apartments, and are helped to find jobs, learn money management and life skills. Their children attend the local public school and receive tutoring offered by School on Wheels.
